At this point my performance was quite bad. I had played the first area, then gone through the police station, then come into the open world area. It was odd that there was one time it ran badly, but the circumstances were weird. However I didn't really need a fix because my system was running it fine, with only very rare hitches. I think using DLSS helped as it reduces the base resolution.Īlso putting a frame rate cap to reduce CPU load would help. I found that the demo is maxing out CPU threads, and I think this was causing occasional hitches. Nvidia are inherently evil Been using their products since the Geforce 2 before that Ati- 3dfx, and over the years the tally of their wrongs is very high and anti-consumer.Originally posted by Roy:Yeah, loved the demo too! :)Īside the performance stuff that I'm sure the devs are already aware of, I would say that a faster running movement would be great, as it felt a bit tedious to have to run across the whole open area to get to a quest location.Īm not sure the performance issues are down to the game. Maybe have a good read of the issues posted in this forum before going on a NVIDIA is bad rant. Game runs perfectly fine if you manually set your CPU clock speeds, usually slightly lower then the stock clock speed. Say what, it's got nothing to do with NVIDIA or their drivers, it's to do with 13/14th Gen CPU's and Unreal Engine 5, all the latest Unreal 5 games suffered the same problems until the Dev's patched the games, some people had AMD GPU's with Intel 13th gen CPU's. Nvidia have been petty for yrs of DX12 and many more instances they've shirked responsibility to keep titles working because of bad deals with studios that were rivals to their partner companies it's pathetic, Back with Gameworks they intentionally crippled initial launches of game to barely run anything else except their flag ship cards. Seems to be a Nvidia driver thing won't be the first or last time, They want you running Their api in games not one shared by all, they've been caught and called out for it time and again.
